Water and Wastewater Process Engineer, pref S2–international, Management Skills

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a promising candidate that (in the near future) can take charge of designing water & waste water treatment solutions, do all calculations, prepare of proposals and official documents, engage in project implementation management and commissioning of such projects. The job responsibilities include among others:

• Design of wastewater treatment plants (WWTP / IPAL), including Basic Engineering Design (BED), calculate water balance, mass balance, calculate the WWTP design based on requirement parameter.
• Detailed design of wastewater infrastructure, budgeting for WWTP / IPAL, including OPEX.
• Planning and modelling of water and/or wastewater systems
• Supervise projects.
• Identify, evaluate and compare options to determine the most appropriate construction technologies.
• Support multi-disciplinary teams to prepare and implement WWTP projects.
• Presenting technical solutions to Client and key stakeholders
• Utilizing existing professional networks for business development opportunities.
• In the future liaison and co-ordination with Clients and Contractors.
• In general assisting with proposals preparation (technical approach, project team, relevant experience, schedule, fee estimate, commercial risk management.

Requirements:

• You are eager to engage with our clients and business partners to let the business grow.
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience, minimum 2++ years in wastewater treatment, process design or similar. Knowledge of biological processes would be an advantage.
• Ability to design WWTPs/IPAL: Experience in preparing process treatment / civil design drawings, specifications and opinions of cost related to water/wastewater treatment facilities, etc.
• Master’s degree in Chemical / Environmental Engineering. Other relevant studies are considered.
• Preferred international degree and / or working experience, good other candidates also welcome to apply.
• Familiar to produce P&ID and PFD.
• Knowledge of MEP will be an advantage.
• Good project management skill
