Welding Engineer

We are looking for position Welding Engineer to support day to day Fabrication Operation in Balikpapan
Your responsibilities

• Create lesson plans to meet diverse learning modelities and ensure inclusive learning environment.
• Prepare course objectives to follow skill matrix curriculum standards established by company.
• Plan in-class activities, discussions and lectures to increase employee comprehension and participation.
• Conduct on-the-job training classes and demonstrated principles, techniques, procedures and methods of diverse subjects.
• Prepare employees for welding certifications and field experience including effectively maintaining, setting up and utilizing torches, plasma cutters and wire- feed, stick, TIG, SMAW and FCAW welding processes.
• Select curriculum and instruction to increase employees' understanding of core concepts.
• Effectively instructed employees and eliminated learning gaps using a wide variety of teaching aids and motivational strategies.
• Efficiently managed day-to-day operations, including curriculum implementation and continuous improvement of fabrication best practices to flow production and task completion.
• Retain interest and maximize receptive learning, educating employees on technical welding, cutting, grinding and machine and tack test plates utilizing diverse instructional techniques and hands-on curriculum.
• Apply a variety of instructional resources to meet the needs of employees with varying backgrounds and learning styles.
• Supervise advanced employee work from both independent and group projects.
• Give constructive feedback to employees to improve learning and progress against course objectives.
• Maintain employee records detailing progress, attendance and program requirements.
• Evaluate employees’ performance and issued progress reports.
• Create appropriate learning environments for employees.
• Design and implement welding techniques (WPS/PQR) for production processes.
• Develop welding procedures and standards in compliance with industry regulations.
• Provide technical guidance, analyze and resolve welding-related issues in production
• Prepare reports and documentation on welding operations
• Conduct inspections and testing of welds to ensure quality
• Analyze and resolve welding and GET of bucket related issues in customer
• Conduct inspections of bucket welds and GET to ensure quality and standard of operational hours
• Stay updated on advancements in welding technology.
• Participate and updating summery of internal fabrication project report to Manger / assistant manager
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to effectively plan and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a small team environment.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes and metallurgy.
• Familiarity with welding codes and standards such as AWS and ASME
