Welding Supervisor

We are looking a Supervisor for overseeing daily Fabrication Operation, responsible in driving team performance and continously fostering a positive work environment.
Your responsibilities

• To Conduct daily safety meetings and go see act at workshop.
• Assigns work to department personnel to attain department objectives using knowledge of production processes, company policies, production schedules, work orders, equipment capacity and employee capabilities.
• Readily perceives and effectively responds to schedules and product flows essential to supervising highly productive, cost-effective, quality-oriented manufacturing operations.
• Establishes and controls procedures to meet production schedules.
• Recommends and initiates improvements to production processes, to increase manufacturing efficiency.
• Establish and control procedures to ensure production of conforming fabricated assembly components.
• Monitoring condition of equipment and tools, readyness and storage.
• Monitors and controls established procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Responsible for compliance with safety and housekeeping requirements.
• Recommends and/or administers personnel actions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Facilitates and promotes company policy and the company Quality Improvement program within all department.
• Provides training, support, direction and guidance to department personnel to continually develop their work habits, job skills and safety practices.
• To Set daily fabrication plan and develop fabrication process for achievement.
• Provides objective feedback for continued employee growth and Evaluates employee performance and accountability.
• Facilitates and promotes company policy and the company Safety Improvement program within all team member.
• Monitors cost control systems to achieve department budget objectives.
• Communications with Safety officers, Quality and Engineering to make standard work procedure or/and standard operating procedure.
• Provide daily report and time sheet monitoring.
• Performs other duties as assigned from Fabrication Department Head.
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to effectively plan and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a small team environment.
• Demonstrates ability to supervise diverse work groups in a team environment.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes and metallurgy.
• Familiarity with welding codes and standards such as AWS and ASME
