Job Description:

As a Wordpress Developer, your responsibility will be to develop features on our platform using Elementor as well as build custom Wordpress plugins for our site. A strong experience in custom Wordpress development is required. In addition, you will maintain updates to our plugins every month on our website. We envision this as a long-term contract role with anywhere between 5 to 20 hours per month where you’ll have plenty of opportunities to contribute toward the development of our website. The work is 100% remote.

Key Responsibilities:

·     Build responsive, mobile-friendly landing pages with excellent UI/UX design using Elementor

·     Custom Plugin Wordpress Development experience required

·     Build core user-friendly features using Elementor

·     Optimize pages for speed, SEO, and performance with Lighthouse score 90+ and green passing score on Core Web Vitals

·     Maintain website and update plugins monthly on Wordpress

·     Fix and troubleshoot bugs that appear on Wordpress

·     Manage website hosting on Siteground

·     Prior experience in Wordpress Development, PHP, HTML, and CSS are required

·     Roughly 5-20 hours of work per month of feature development

·     100% remote work

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

·     3-5+ years of experience with Wordpress and Elementor are required

·     Keen eye for UI/UX design and strong attention to detail in delivery of work

·     Quickly respond to Slack messages and requests as needed

·     Strong verbal and written communication skills

·     Honest, open dialogue, including acknowledging mistakes when they occur and learning from them to continually improve one’s quality of work

·     Receptive to critical feedback and desire to become a high performer

·     Willingness to work in a fast-paced work environment

·     Strong work ethic, high degree of integrity, desire to go above and beyond
