Role Description

The Accounting Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Surabaya, responsible for supporting daily accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial records. This position involves preparing and reviewing journal entries, assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports, and reconciling accounts to maintain data integrity. The role includes monitoring transactions, coordinating with internal departments to gather financial information, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The Accounting Coordinator will also assist with compliance tasks, documentation, and process improvements to enhance efficiency within the finance function.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance and Accounting, including knowledge of Financial Statements and standard accounting practices.
• Hands-on experience with Journal Entries (Accounting) and Financial Reporting, preferably in a manufacturing or product-focused environment.
• Solid Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify variances, and support decision-making.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
