Senior Application Technologist is responsible for leading the development, innovation, and optimization of savory products and flavor systems, ensuring excellence in product quality, customer collaboration, and sustainable solutions. This role provides strategic leadership in savory application projects, driving creativity, technical expertise, and operational efficiency while fostering a culture of safety, inclusivity, and continuous learning. The position requires strong customer engagement, cross-functional teamwork, and hands-on problem-solving to deliver impactful, future-ready solutions in the food industry.

This function will be reporting to Application Senior Manager who is based in Jakarta.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop prototype recipes, flavor applications, and testing in savory products.
• Select, describe, and apply flavors and ingredients in prototype development.
• Translate customer needs into actionable projects aligned with business priorities.
• Drive innovation in savory flavor technologies, new delivery systems, and culinary techniques.
• Act as a key technical expert, supporting and presenting technologies to internal and external clients.
• Collaborate with flavorists and commercial teams while ensuring good laboratory practice.

You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science/Technology with 5+ years in savory applications or product development.
• Solid expertise in food processing and savory flavor systems.
• Creativity, innovation mindset, and strategic problem-solving skills.
• Leadership and project management experience.
• Strong communication, customer interaction, and teamwork abilities.
• Agility, organization, and a self-driven, can-do attitude in fast-paced environments.
