Deputy Team Leader - Technical Assistance for "SDG Indonesia One"

As part of a technical assistance programme to the Indonesian fund PT SMI, Ginger SOFRECO is seeking to recruit a Deputy Team Leader for a mission combining capacity-building activities with project preparation studies.

The Deputy Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day management of the various activities and services carried out under the programme, including coordination of activities, scheduling, cost monitoring, and delivery of outputs in line with the agreed terms and deadlines.

The assignment is planned for a total duration of 9 months, mobilised partly or fully on-site in Indonesia.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in science/engineering/management/business (or a related major, such as development finance, economics, or renewable energy);
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia (mandatory);
• Very good command of English in a professional environment (working level).

Professional experience:

• Minimum 10 years of general professional experience;
• 3 project managing experiences (management of overall project implementation as well as all reporting activities, and liaison with stakeholders) in the renewable energy sector, in the last 10 years;
• Demonstrate solid knowledge of the Indonesian financial and/or public institutional sector, ideally including prior collaboration with PT SMI;
• Have practical experience in renewable energy or infrastructure project implementation and monitoring.
