About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Head/manager of Maintenance to lead and manage all maintenance operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and optimal performance of production equipment and plant facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastic injection molding and plastic extrusion machinery, with solid expertise in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, team leadership, and implementing effective maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and improve overall equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Leadership

• Lead and manage the overall maintenance function including engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
• Develop and implement effective preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.
• Ensure high equipment reliability and operational efficiency across all production lines.

Machine Reliability & Performance

• Oversee maintenance activities for all production equipment, particularly plastic injection molding and plastic extrusion machines.
• Monitor and improve machine performance indicators such as downtime, MTTR, MTBF, and OEE.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis for critical equipment failures.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 8–12 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 3–5 years in a leadership role (Supervisor / Manager / Head level).
• Strong hands-on experience with plastic injection molding and plastic extrusion machinery is essential.
• Proven experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of industrial equipment.

Technical Expertise

• Strong knowledge of plastic injection molding and extrusion processes.
• Solid understanding of hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, mechanical transmission, motors, and drive systems.
• Familiar with PLC basics, inverters, sensors, and electrical control panels.
• Experience implementing Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, TPM, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is an advantage.
