Internal Tax

OBSIDIAN is an Indonesian-born fitness and lifestyle brand founded in Canggu, Bali. As we continue to grow and expand into new locations, we are looking for a Bali-based Internal Tax specialist to lead our tax compliance, planning, and risk management.

What you'll do

• Manage corporate tax compliance across all entities.
• Prepare and review monthly and annual tax filings, including fiscal reconciliations
• Partner with external tax consultants to implement tax planning strategies across the group.
• Review the tax implications of new business initiatives, contracts, and transactions.
• Review legal agreements and corporate structures to ensure tax efficiency and compliance.
• Manage tax audits and relationships with tax authorities and external tax consultants.
• Monitor tax regulation updates and ensure compliance.
• Identify tax risks and strengthen internal tax controls.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, and Legal to support tax-efficient business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Corporate/Internal Tax.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations.
• Experience handling corporate tax compliance and tax audits.
• Basic understanding of Indonesian corporate law and its tax implications.
• Brevet A & B required (Brevet C is a plus).
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
