BAT Indonesia has an exciting opportunity for an IR & ER Manager role in Malang, Indonesia.

This role plays a critical part in managing industrial relations, ensuring compliance with Indonesian labor laws, and supporting a harmonious and legally compliant work environment.

What You Will Be Accountable For

• Negotiate Collective Bargaining Agreements (CLA/PKB) and handle disputes with trade unions and individual employees.
• Ensure all internal regulations (PP) and company practices align with Indonesian labor laws (UU Ketenagakerjaan).
• Act as a mediator to resolve employee grievances and misconduct internally before they advance to legal action.
• Lead interactions with government agencies (MoM/Disnaker, BPJS) and labor inspectors.
• Develop and update company policies, procedures, and disciplinary protocols to align with both business goals and legal requirements.
  
  

Essential Experience, Skills And Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, HR Management or other relevant fields
• At least 5 years of experience in human resources, particularly in industrial relations.
• Strong legal knowledge, negotiation, conflict resolution, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Deep understanding of Indonesian labour legislation.
