Key Responsibility :
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts for profitable sales growth and maintain strong and reliable relationships with the decision makers of the customers
- Winning new contracts from existing or new customers, which include mining owners & mining contractors for supporting & production equipment
- Able to formulate a proposal to offer solutions to customers’ challenges and needs
- To understand the challenges and needs of the customers and partner with the internal department to ensure that the service levels are achieved and delivered to the customer to their satisfaction
- Responsible for negotiating contract extensions, securing new contracts, and meeting the company's set margin standard
- Conduct regular business review meetings
- Co-operating with the Indonesia Territory Manager and distributors to ensure a smooth process and service level
- To be efficient in the Donaldson Sales Program (IMPAX) by training and implementation
- Able to develop actions for short- and medium-term growth & corrective actions
- Maintain high customer satisfaction with good feedback from customers
- Conduct market research to find new business opportunity
Key Qualifications & Requirements
Education Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering is preferred
Technical Competence & Professional Skills
- In-depth industry knowledge of mining, construction, heavy-duty diesel engines, or other equivalent heavy industry sectors
- Proven expertise in developing and retaining key accounts for mining enterprise customers
- Hands-on experience working with CRM customer management systems is a plus
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong cross-functional problem-solving skills
- Able to build and sustain long-term strategic partnerships with the customers
Relevant Professional Experience
- Minimum 5 years of technical or industrial sales experience is mandatory
- Prior filtration industry sales experience is preferred but not required; heavy equipment industry background will also be considered
Others:
- Willing and able to travel 50% or more of working time
- Fluent English communication ability
