Job Description
As a Tax Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and managing the company's tax compliance and reporting processes.
- Preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations.
- Developing and implementing tax strategies to optimise the organisation's financial performance.
- Providing guidance on tax-related matters to internal stakeholders.
- Staying updated on changes in tax laws and regulations relevant to the retail industry.
- Coordinating with external auditors and tax authorities as required.
- Ensuring timely submission of tax filings and payments.
- Identifying and mitigating potential tax risks for the organisation.
A Successful Tax Manager Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification in taxation or accounting is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations in Indonesia.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in accounting and tax software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
