Your Role

The Air Logistics Gateway & Procurement Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing air freight operations, managing gateway activities, and supporting procurement efforts to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This role requires a strategic and analytical mindset to develop vendor relationships, streamline processes, and drive continuous improvement across air logistics functions.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day air logistics activities to ensure timely and efficient cargo movement inclusive of prepare, handle and process documentation needed for air export consolidations.
• Monitor and control gateway operations, ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and other partners to achieve optimal service and cost efficiencies.
• Have a good understanding of Aircraft types and configurations, routings and equipment experience.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and carriers.
• Negotiate rates, contracts, and terms with service providers to secure favorable agreements.
• Evaluate vendor performance and address any service-related issues or improvements.
• Monitor and analyze logistics costs, identifying areas for potential savings.
• Prepare regular reports on cost, efficiency, and performance metrics.
• Lead initiatives to optimize load planning, routing, and handling procedures.
• Ensure all operations align with company standards and industry best practices.
  
  

Your Skills And Experiences

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in air logistics, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Able to work in Denpasar International Airport.
• Strong understanding of air freight operations and gateway processes.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience of governance and control in relation to Dangerous Goods, Customs and Aviation Security are added advantage.
