About The Role

We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to integrate security best practices into our development and operations processes. You will play a crucial role in ensuring secure software development, protecting cloud infrastructure, and automating security compliance. Working closely with software engineers and DevOps teams, you will implement security controls, vulnerability management, and continuous security monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines, ensuring security is embedded in every stage of development.
  • Define, manage, and monitor secure cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
  • Automate security testing, compliance checks, and threat detection using DevSecOps tools.
  • Implement and manage IAM (Identity and Access Management) policies, including Keycloak.
  • Secure Node.js, Next.js, and Flutter applications, ensuring best practices in authentication and encryption.
  • Work closely with developers to perform secure code reviews and vulnerability assessments.
  • Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM and threat intelligence tools.
  • Define and enforce security policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, etc.).
  • Manage PostgreSQL security, including database encryption and access control.
  • Develop automated scripts and tools for security monitoring, threat analysis, and log management.
  • Conduct penetration testing, vulnerability scans, and risk assessments on infrastructure and applications.
  • Stay updated on security threats and propose proactive defense mechanisms.
  • Provide Level 2 security support and assist in security incident investigations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a DevSecOps Engineer, Security Engineer, or in a DevOps security role.
  • Expertise in cloud security (AWS & Azure), including security groups, IAM, and encryption.
  • AWS Certification (AWS Certified Security Specialist or Solutions Architect) is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM and authentication protocols (e.g., Keycloak, OAuth, SAML, JWT).
  • Proficiency in Git and Git workflows with security best practices.
  • Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with security-focused DevOps tools (e.g., Snyk, SonarQube, Aqua Security, Trivy).
  • Strong understanding of Node.js, Next.js, and Flutter security best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL security, encryption, and database access management.
  • Deep understanding of secure coding practices, OWASP Top 10, and CVE identification.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on proactive security and automation.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with development, operations, and security teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with SIEM solutions and real-time security monitoring (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack).
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture and network security principles.
  • Familiarity with penetration testing tools (Burp Suite, Metasploit, Kali Linux).
  • Understanding of serverless security and API security best practices.
  • Experience implementing SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, or PCI-DSS compliance frameworks.
