Equipment Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee maintenance operations, ensure optimal equipment performance, and uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Your responsibilities

• Drive productivity by ensuring all tasks assigned to your work group are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical installations, as well as support equipment, at PTL Balikpapan — including servicing and clearing backlog work.
• Proactively request the necessary materials to complete repairs and servicing of electrical and mechanical equipment without delays.
• Lead and manage your team effectively, ensuring the best use of manpower and resources.
• Assign tasks clearly and ensure all team members fully understand their responsibilities and job requirements.
• Mentor and coach your team, sharing your expertise to develop their technical skills and boost overall performance.
• Provide hands-on support in troubleshooting and diagnosing faults whenever needed.
• Conduct thorough final inspections to verify that all completed work meets company standards for quality and safety.
• Promote the safe and correct use of all tools and equipment, reinforcing a strong safety culture within your team.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with company timekeeping policies, including punctual start, finish, and meal times.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by your superiors, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive attitude.
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supervisory role in electrical/mechanical maintenance
• Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and coaching skills.
• Solid understanding of preventive maintenance systems and safety standards.
