Qualifications & experience

• Ability to respond effectively, verbally or in writing to sensitive issues, complex inquiries or complaints. Detail oriented with strong organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and familiarity with understanding of emergency situations and escalation processes.
• Having at least 5-7 years of experience in Facilities management of a DC environment.
• Understand Data Centre operations and compliance

Tasks & responsibilities

• Provide critical operations leadership and management support to facility management team and service vendors who have the responsibility for day-to-day operations and maintenance of the data center (e.g. heating, ventilation, electrical distribution system, plumbing, fire suppression system etc.)
• Manage vendors and contractors to obtain maximum effectiveness and efficiency (safety, cost, equipment longevity, and reliability) and to maintain the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) infrastructure per industrial best practices
• Manage operational contract budgets and accounts. Produce site related financial, activity and other statistical information and reports as requested.
• Ensuring contractually agreed SLA’s and KPI’s within the Scope of Works (SOW) are met and necessary record retention demonstrating adherence
• Ensure all monthly billing to client is accurate and submit on schedule
• Plan and schedule all maintenance subcontractors work and repairs. Ensure all accounts and documentation associated with these subcontractors is current and up to date on a monthly basis.
• Create a learning environment on the site by providing the appropriate training and development planning for each member. Ensure basic training needs are delivered, employees are fully competent to undertake their roles, and are able to reach their full future potential.
