Head of Finance & Accounting

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

• Oversee and manage daily operations of the finance and accounting departments, reporting directly to CEO
• Financial Strategy, Planning & Reporting:
  o Develop and implement the financial strategy in alignment with the company’s goals.
  o Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, including financial analysis such as variance analysis, profitability analysis and cash flow projections
  o Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
  o Provide financial results, insights and strategic recommendations to the management team
• Budget & Cash Flow Management:
  o Develop, manage, and monitor the monthly, quarterly and annual budget to ensure alignment with company
  objectives.
  o Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  o Develop and implement weekly & monthly payment plans
• Accounting & Compliance:
  o Ensure compliance with all accounting standards, financial regulations, and tax laws.
  o Oversee the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger
  o Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and other external partners.
• Risk Management & Internal Controls:
  o Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  o Identify financial risks and recommend strategies to mitigate them.
• Systems & Process Improvement:
  o Evaluate and improve financial processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  o Drive automation and technological improvements in financial reporting and accounting processes.
• Lead corporate partnerships with financial services organizations
• Lead, build and grow a team of finance & accounting talents
• Contribute to building a positive working culture of integrity, professionalism, collaboration and growth mindset
• Support Corporate Finance function (fundraising, investor relations, etc)
• Partner with C-Levels and other Heads of Department for strategic corporate initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 7 years of full-time experience in a Finance and/or Accounting leadership/managerial role in any B2C
  industry/sector within Indonesia market
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Have managed at least 5 full-time, direct reports in a finance & accounting team
• Proficient with using spreadsheet software / tools (MS Excel, Google Sheets) for data reporting and analysis
• Comfortable with presentation software / tools (MS Powerpoint, Google Slides)
• Experience with accounting and financial management software
• Strong knowledge of Indonesia financial and tax regulations, accounting standards, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
