Qualification

  • Understanding OSI layer 7
  • Understand the concept of LAN, WAN, IP Address, DHCP, WiFi, VLAN, Firewall, DNS
  • Understanding fundamentals of wireless network (Frequency, Channel, wireless security, Access point, cellular)
  • Experience with a wide range of network topologies
  • Experience in configuring Routers, Switches, Access Point
  • Experience in Mikrotik, Cisco, Unifi, Ruijie, Cambium, Fortigate, etc
  • 2+ years experience in systems engineering or network management
  • Prior experience maintaining and managing Cisco routers, switches, firewalls and access points

Additional Qualifications

  • Network Certificate (MTCNA, CCNA)
  • Understanding of fiber optic, Vsat, Cellular Network

Job Description

  • Identify, analyze, and resolve problems involving network connectivity, application performance, and security
  • Analyze network, application, and infrastructure issues, diagnosing both hardware and software problems
  • Work on diverse, complex, and constantly shifting technologies
  • Ensure that network availability and performance is at an optimum level
  • Maintain computer systems and provide support for users
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems
  • Proactively seek out new ideas and methods to improve
  • Work independently, as well as in a team environment
  • Install hardware and/or software with necessary firmware from HQ
  • Maintain patch and update management; manage change requests; and escalate issues and outages
  • Coordinate with external and internal team and vendors for problem resolution
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and network, including backup and recovery
