Project Manager - Customer Data Platform (CDP) Implementation
The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and closure of the Finns Bali Customer Data Platform (CDP) implementation project. This role requires a highly organized, experienced project professional with a strong understanding of CDP technologies, data management principles, marketing processes, and vendor management best practices. The Project Manager will lead a cross-functional team, manage project scope, budget, and timeline, and ensure the project aligns with Finns Bali's strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Management:
- Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, encompassing all project phases (Initiation, Vendor Selection, Data Assessment, Implementation, Activation, Testing, Training, Closure).
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics.
- Manage project budget, track expenses, and ensure adherence to budget constraints.
- Develop a detailed work breakdown structure (WBS).
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
- Create and maintain a risk management plan, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Utilize project management tools (Monday.com) to track progress, manage tasks, assign resources, and communicate project status.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Manage and control project scope, ensuring all changes are properly documented and approved.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
Vendor Management:
- Lead the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including requirements gathering, RFP document creation, vendor selection, and contract negotiation.
- Manage the selected CDP vendor relationship, ensuring vendor performance aligns with contract terms and project requirements.
- Facilitate communication between the vendor and the internal project team.
- Monitor vendor performance and address any issues that arise.
Data Management:
- Collaborate with data analysts and engineers to define data integration requirements.
- Ensure data quality, completeness, and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
Team Leadership & Communication:
- Lead and motivate a cross-functional project team, including IT, marketing, data analytics, and operations personnel.
- Clearly communicate project goals, objectives, and timelines to the team.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.
- Resolve conflicts and remove roadblocks to project progress.
Stakeholder Management:
- Convene the Steering Group, manage the agenda in conjunction with the Exec Sponsor.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive sponsors, department heads, and end-users.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and address any concerns.
Training & Documentation:
- Oversee the development of training materials for end-users.
- Ensure adequate training is provided to enable effective use of the CDP.
- Ensure proper project documentation is created and maintained.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing Customer Data Platform (CDP) implementations or related data-driven projects.
- Experience managing vendor relationships, including RFP processes and contract negotiations.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in the hospitality or tourism industry is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Customer Data Platform (CDP) concepts and technologies.
- Familiarity with data management principles and data governance best practices.
- Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
- Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Proficiency in project management tools (Monday.com).
- Knowledge of marketing automation platforms (e.g., Brevo, Mailchimp) is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

- Solid understanding of CDP architecture, including data ingestion, identity resolution, segmentation, and activation.
- Experience integrating CDPs with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and other marketing technologies.
- Experience developing and executing personalized marketing campaigns using CDP data.
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning applications within CDPs is a plus.
