Sales Engineer Utility

Main Objectives:

Develop sales activity in Utility market segment in Indonesia by promoting GF’s solutions and services with the goal to establish GF’s market position as a preferred piping systems solutions provider in Indonesia and Identify potential market in Utility.

Main Tasks:

• Define and implement a utility segment strategy in Indonesia in collaboration with the Sales Manager and Head of Sales & Marketing.
• Deliver profitable growth through a holistic approach to sales and marketing management, aimed at improving the profitability of the utility market segment.
• Engage in networking activities with utility authorities (Water & Gas), consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with distributors as necessary to ensure timely supply for major projects.
• Utilize product knowledge, including technical expertise in welding technologies, to establish a valuable sales tool for customers, particularly concerning technical specifications and sales arguments during exhibitions.
• Maintain updated CRM reports, including the OTP report, detailing the latest developments in major projects and market activities, as well as competitor information.

Job Requirements, Skills, and Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial).
• Experience in sales and technical knowledge in the utility sector (Water & Gas).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings/designs.
• Computer literate.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Project management capabilities.
• Skills in business strategic planning and development.

Expertise:

• Sales and business development in engineering and infrastructure industries.
• Active involvement in SPAM, PDAM, industrial estates, gas, and government sectors.
• Expertise in water treatment, distribution, sanitation, wastewater pipelines, pipes, valves, and process automation.
• Strong relationships with water authorities, the Government PUPR/PGN, consultants, EPC firms, and contractors involved in infrastructure, pipeline, water treatment, and distribution projects.
