SEA FREIGHT SUPERVISOR

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree with any major, preferred Management or Transportation Management
• 3+ years experiences of International Freight Forwarding; experience with shipping and project cargo;
• 2 years experiences of Sea Freight Supervisor and strong knowledge of ocean transport management
• Strong understanding of shipping, Import & Export and have vendor/agent resource;
• Able to speak English, Mandarin is a plus;
• Proficient with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent leadership, customer service, & vendor relationship management skills;
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teams and external partners;
• Commitment to service quality and the ability to work within tight deadlines;
• Willing to Business Trip.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Build a new sea freight department
• Control all sea freight documents, including manifest submission to custom excise
• Ensure that all shipping documents (B/L, invoice, packing list) are complete and comply with regulations;
• Advise the operations department or director on researching best routes and making bookings international freight shipments with best rates from shipping lines.
• Supervise and ensure the smooth flow of all freight forwarding operations, including import, export, customs clearance, and local deliveries;
• Coordinate with internal teams and external parties such as shipping lines, customs, land transportation, and clients to ensure on-time deliveries;
• Identify operational issues and provide effective solutions to minimize delays and ensure customer satisfaction;
• Analyze and optimize operational processes and workflow with other department, driving improvement and innovation.
