Let us Empower Beauty for A Sustainable Future, together As the technical packaging lead on project teams driving the development and optimization of the essential packaging that protects and enhances our personal care products. This person will collaborate with the factories to optimize filling and packaging line performance and helps solve packaging quality issues. Our ideal candidate can work well with multiple stakeholder needs to develop and launch packaging solutions in line with Customers and Factory requirements. She or he will do this while ensuring packaging safety, quality, functionality, and sustainability objectives are being met in a cost-efficient manner

• Leverage technical experience and education to develop, implement, and execute creative packaging development activities to achieve project goals.
• Participate in the selection of packaging material and equipment suppliers. Responsible for maintaining vendor and industry relationships to keep abreast of current trends and to determine future trends.
• Maintain/Develop packaging specifications & packaging safety documentation.
• Provide technical support and packaging expertise to internal customers, including Marketing, Operations, QA, Engineering, Purchasing, Packaging Communications, and others. Through assigned Brand and Manufacturing responsibilities, serves as a point-person to proactively search out packaging solutions that are aligned with Brand vision and Manufacturing strategy.
• Responsible for performing packaging production qualification trials (materials / vendor selection) as well as shipping and handling tests. Reviews and evaluates and documents results, facilitates decision making.
• Work with Quality Management to set quality attributes and evaluation procedures for packaging components, ensuring quality by design.
• Review customer brief and be able to propose different options to suit customer’s needs in terms of quality, price, lead time and sustainability.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 7 years of working experiences as Product / Packaging Development.
• A thorough understanding of sourcing methodologies
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Sound time-management and organizational skills.
