Staff Specialist Accounting, Tax & Reporting

In this role you're responsible for compliance & audit program activities, maintaining legal documentation and propose corrective action on tax & accounting matter.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Responsible and manage company compliance program and activities (e.g. workshop, campaign etc.)
• Collaborate with internal auditor to improve company process
• Main contact for Internal Auditor
• Monitor follow-up & implementation of internal audit recommendations, ensuring effective remediation
• Develop risk mitigation strategies, identify vulnerabilities or fraud risks, and recommend corrective action
• Monitor employees’ completion of compliance mandatory training
• Coordinate with Chief Financial Officer / Compliance Officer in the related legal and compliance topic
• Engage in process legal documentation (e.g. business licenses, certifications, reports etc.)
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholder to ensure that compliance with the rules and regulations
• Contribute & propose corrective action related tax & accounting topic.
  
  

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor Degree in Business Management or equivalent
• Min. 2-5 years of relevant experience in handling compliance activities
• Good knowledge and understanding in legal, corporate governance and governmental processes and procedures
• Understanding of Internal Auditor would be a plus
• Understanding of Accounting and Taxation would be a plus
• Proficient in English, with excellent oral and written skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
