The Role

You Will Be Responsible For

• Leading, managing and planning all aspects of logistics operations including inbound/outbound logistics through sea, road and air, shipping and customs clearance, insurance related to company and logistics operations.
• Managing relationships with logistics service providers for transportation, customs clearance for both inbound and outbound operations.
• Coordinating with manufacturing divisions to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Liaising with Sales and Marketing to ensure that distribution readiness for new product lines.
• Driving continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives for warehousing and delivery operations.
• Planning and executing effective and efficient warehouse and logistics operations.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders (Sales, Supply Chain and Quality), clients and suppliers and ensuring a seamless supply of products to and from the warehouse.
• Managing warehouse department’s budgets and ensuring performance targets are met.
• Setting the warehouse policies and procedures and ensuring that staff follows the company's policies, procedures and safety regulations.
• Monitoring and allocating storage space.
• Ensuring that workplace health and safety requirements are met.
• Hiring , training and motivating warehouse staff and planning and managing staff schedules.
• Managing a team of 6-10 people.
  
  

Ideal Profile

• You have at least 3 years experience ideally as a Warehousing / Distribution or Transportation / Logistics within Consumer Health, Hospitality and Retail.
• You have working knowledge of Time Management & Multitasking and Inventory Control
• You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems
• You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
