Job Description

  • To evaluate the project scope and carry out assessment
  • Ensure work is carried out in compliance with international construction codes and class specifications
  • Ensure work in carried out as per work to permit system and with proper hazard /risk analyses
  • Compliance to production schedule for repair and new construction project.
  • Ensure quality inspections are carried out with Internal and external qc as per inspection plan and liaise on quality matters with QA Department.
  • Assist in logistic /spares / materials and stores.
  • Coordinating with owner’s representative and classification authority.
  • Ensure Projects are delivered as per owner satisfaction without LTI
  • Train Department engineer on projects works scope execution and management
  • To follow the Safety Rules and Regulation set refer to Occupational Health & Safety Policy and Environmental Policy of shipyard

Job Requirements

  • Degree qualification in Mechanical/Marine engineering or equivalent
  • 10 Years of relevant experience in Shipbuilding and ship repair in shipyard & marine and Offshore Industry
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Capable of writing technical reports, work procedures, and clear documentation.
  • Working knowledge in the various operations/workshop
  • Familiar with tools and equipment used in mechanical fitting and alignment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Mechanical skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
