Job Description
- To evaluate the project scope and carry out assessment
- Ensure work is carried out in compliance with international construction codes and class specifications
- Ensure work in carried out as per work to permit system and with proper hazard /risk analyses
- Compliance to production schedule for repair and new construction project.
- Ensure quality inspections are carried out with Internal and external qc as per inspection plan and liaise on quality matters with QA Department.
- Assist in logistic /spares / materials and stores.
- Coordinating with owner’s representative and classification authority.
- Ensure Projects are delivered as per owner satisfaction without LTI
- Train Department engineer on projects works scope execution and management
- To follow the Safety Rules and Regulation set refer to Occupational Health & Safety Policy and Environmental Policy of shipyard
- Degree qualification in Mechanical/Marine engineering or equivalent
- 10 Years of relevant experience in Shipbuilding and ship repair in shipyard & marine and Offshore Industry
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Capable of writing technical reports, work procedures, and clear documentation.
- Working knowledge in the various operations/workshop
- Familiar with tools and equipment used in mechanical fitting and alignment.
- Excellent knowledge of Mechanical skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
