Bring the capital equipment business segment, including Underground, Surface, Digital Solutions Division products as the market leader and vendor of choice in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia by implementing effective sales and value proposition strategy
Job Description:
1. Develop an effective sales strategy for Underground, Surface, and Digital Solutions Division products and periodically review the effectiveness.
2. Ensure the development of market insight, promote and sell activity of the capital equipment under Underground, Surface, Digital Solutions Division.
3. Develop and analyze various parameters marketing tools; market analysis, competitor mapping, customer behavior, and make the best usage of it to support the capital sales strategy.
4. Ensure capital sales target achievement; reflected in OR/OI target achievement.
5. Ensure that the capital sales team are equipped with excellent product knowledge and product application knowledge and other necessary skill and competency to deliver professional and accurate sales presentation for potential customers and existing customers.
6. Execute sales negotiation practice according to local policy with best effort to maintain profitability 7. Strategically plan and ensure the execution of the capital sales team visitation schedule to both existing and potential customers to promote products and services and/or evaluate needs.
8. Ensure that the customers' questions, complaints, and other enquiries are being handled timely, accurately, and according to the company procedure.
9. Control the database of customers and potential customers coming from the capital sales team.
10. Monitor the execution and delivery of each sales project
11. Build and maintain relationship with existing and potential customers and ensure that the team has a good relationship with their respective customers.
12. Lead the capital sales team members to be a high-performing team members.
13. Closely collaborate with Operations Manager, and the Business Line Managers in planning, executing, and evaluating each sales project.
14. Collaborate with other functions for any specific matters requiring discussion to achieve best solution.
15. Having a Safety First mindset and accelerate the transformation
Requirements:
Educational Background :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Management
Experience :
  • Minimum of 7 (five) years of sales experience in mining
  • Experience handling the SSEA Asia region's customers type and behavior, especially customers in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia.
  • Experience in handling diverse team members.
Technical Knowledge & Skill :
  • Excellent communication and presentation skill.
  • Well versed using presentation tools, MS Powerpoint, etc.
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong capital equipment product and market knowledge
  • Strong leadership skill.
