The primary function is to generate new business leads and foster current customer relationships in the Region- Development of industry partnerships and working with other regions and factories to provide optimal solutions to the customers.
- Leading a high-performance Regional Sales Team
- Support business growth strategy in the region
- Strategic and operational accountability of the Regional Sales
- Leading the development and market awareness of FLENDER solution.
- Developing effective, resilient working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring all Sales activities are carried out effectively and in line with internal and external governance and regulatory frameworks
- Establishing appropriate controls to monitor performance, and to drive future growth and development of the team.
- Supporting the implementation of current business improvement initiatives
- Reviewing the trends influencing the markets and developing innovative customer-centric strategies in response to these changes.
- 8-10 years of related Sales experience.
- Knowledge of power transmissions and related equipment
- Proven experience of 5 - 8 years business-to-business relationships in mining & minerals in the respective region
- Technical understanding of Mechanical Drives and gearbox products so relevant Industry exposure is preferred
- Proficiency in managing system applications and CRM tools to operate independently
- Financial and business acumen
- Understanding Engineering concepts
- Tertiary qualification in engineering (Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Mining/ Metallurgy) or relevant trade qualification is an advantage
- Leadership skills
- Commercial acumen
- Solid professional judgment and problem-solving competence
- Ability to improve existing processes and approaches
- Customer engagement skills
- Ability to share knowledge and grow teams
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

- Advanced level Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with Salesforce an advantage
