Overhead Crane Manager/Senior Engineer (Batam Site)

URGENTLY REQUIRED - OVERHEAD CRANE MANAGER/SENIOR ENGINEER

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Min Degree in Mechanical engineering with min 5 years relevant experience in similar position,

2. Possess relevant OHC experience .

3. Min 5 years working experience in OHC as OHC engineer or manager

4. Independent and resourceful. Highly proactive in general to ensure meeting deadline,

5. Ability to travel within short notice as required,

6. Excellent knowledge of MS Office and strong computer skills

7. Open minded, self driven personalities who want to take responsibility for the full operation of the vessels, and accept changes as they might occur.

8. Strong team player with technical English language proficiency, good communication.

9. Fluently write and speak English and Bahasa Indonesia. Mandarin speaking is an added advantage

JOB SCOPE:

Office paper work

• Reading through repair and installation orders to determine the material, time, and equipment required.

• Responsible for ensuring all procedures are adhered to and comply with SOP and Safety standards.

• Assist to source for technical supplies required for the asset for better economical the rates, if instructed by management

• Completing service records and repair documents

• Perform weekly/monthly review of Planned Maintenance System progress and attend the OHC crane inspections.

• Maintaining a OHC parts inventory, and spare part good conditions.

• Constructing replacement parts using drawings, saws, and various hand and power tools.• Evaluation of all OHC crane engineer requisition, and follow up the purchasing and delivery status.

• Liaising and consulting with the supervisor and other relevant professionals and vendors. Site work and technical duty

• Running diagnostic tests and Analyzing diagnostic test result of machinery.

• Testing the performance of mechanical and electrical systems.

• Troubleshooting mechanic and electrical problems, and test driving vehicles to gauge performance.

• Performing preventative maintenance of the OHC cranes

• Complete the weekly working list according to planning.

• Review OHC crane daily inspection activity report and highlight the urgent or planned work at site.

• Generate weekly working list and monitor OHC crane technical performance,

• Monthly / Weekly onboard verify and report conditions / status of OHC crane and inventory.

• Provide technical assistance and advice to site whenever at home, office or overseas.

• Briefing and debriefing and appraisal of OHC crane technician.

• Any other jobs assigned by management and/or the direct reporting officer.
