We are hiring: QA Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer who is passionate about building scalable and intelligent financial systems that power Baskit’s national operations and credit ecosystem as we expand across Indonesia and beyond.

This role will work closely with the product team and play a critical role in testing the designing, launching, and optimizing the core infrastructure behind our Cashflow and Risk platforms—including payments, virtual cards, credit scoring, and automation workflows, all deeply integrated with our ERP system.

If you have 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer (preferably in fintech, lending, payments, or ERP), strong business and technical acumen, and thrive in fast-paced, analytical environments—we want to hear from you!

IMPORTANT: We are only considering candidates who are able to commute to our BSD office.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and conduct manual and (planned) automation testing.
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Design, build and maintain mobile, web and/or API test.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field.
• 3-5 years of related job experience within e-commerce or FMCG industry.
• Extensive experience in software development and testing.
• Experience with different types of testing, such as exploratory, integration, system and end-to-end.
• Strong knowledge of testing tools (Postman, swagger, Jmeter, or similar tools).
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Native fluency in Bahasa, conversational in English.
